The Principles of Flight course covers all aspects of operating your aircraft in a safe manner to ensure that you stay within the confines of the manufacturers structural envelope for a given aircraft type.
Principles of Flight is a scientific subject but we demystify the complicated aspects and deliver the course using simple scientific principles, experiments and engaging anecdotes that directly relate to your flying lessons.
This course teaches you the theoretical and practical knowledge of aerodynamics, load factor, stalling, the four forces, flight controls, effects of weight, altitude & temperature for given aerial manoeuvres as well as comprehensive information related to stall and spin characteristics of typical light training aircraft.
The course lasts for one day with the examination taken at the end. The PPL Principles Of Flight examination consists of 12 multiple choice questions which have to be answered within 35 minutes; requiring a pass mark of 75%.
